From the dairy to the plant
PJSC "Kupyansk Dairy Plant" (in 1975 - Kupyansk Dairy Plant) was put into operation in October 1957 as a plant for the production of condensed milk with a design capacity of 20 million conventional cans per year.

PJSC “Kupyansk Dairy Plant” (in 1975 – Kupyansk Dairy Plant) was put into operation in October 1957 as a plant for the production of condensed milk with a design capacity of 20 million conventional cans per year. For half a century new dairy directions were opened at the enterprise, but the main profile in production was and remains canned milk condensed with sugar. The shop for the production of canned milk with sugar has tripled its capacity. If the first reconstruction of 1974-77 was aimed at technical re-equipment and increase of production capacity, the second reconstruction allowed to reduce energy consumption, increase productivity, while maintaining the main thing – the classic technology of condensed milk production.

PJSC “Kupyansky MKK” is a unique complex with three technological shops on one production site: shop of canned milk condensed with sugar, shop of whole milk products with sites on production of sweet cream butter, ultrapasteurized milk and cheese products, shop on production of dry. Over 60 years, the production capacity of the milk processing plant has increased to 600 tons of milk per day.

Achieving high results in the production of dairy products is impossible with one technical re-equipment and technological innovations. Milk, as the main component of any dairy products, must have strict control over the purity and compliance with the temperature regime from the farm itself.

In the late 90’s, the plant together with the Swedish company “De Laval” began to implement a program of installation of cooling tanks on commercial farms and milk collection points

Today, 100% of milk is supplied to the plant – it is milk from dairy farms, where fresh chilled milk is supplied to the plant for processing, the program to work with the company “De Laval” continues today.

PJSC “Kupyansky MKK” produces 8 main types of canned milk condensed with sugar in a tin can. With the development of polymer packaging, which affected the vast majority of food, canned milk condensed with sugar also did not stay aside. In 2012, the plant was the first condensed milk producer in Ukraine to install a line for packaging condensed milk in Doy-Pack packaging, which was specially designed for this product. The consumer is offered a range of 4 types: whole milk condensed with sugar, with the addition of natural coffee or cocoa and cream condensed with sugar. Doy-Pack packaging is a worthy alternative to tin
